Let’s use the spirit of Halloween to Help Us Be More Human All Year ‘Round

Mom celebrating the Halloween spirit Halloween is a season of fun, costumes , and candy . Indeed, it has become a favorite of mine. The kids get excited about their costumes, and spending the evening visiting neighbors and receiving candy in response to their declaration of, " Trick or Treat "! All around the country, neighbors open their doors and give candy to anyone who shows up seeking it. Upon reflection, it is a beautiful tradition that embodies the generosity of the human spirit. I was talking to someone yesterday and commented about how much I have grown to enjoy it and wished that it could last for more than one night.

A Peek Into the Life of a Blogger Mom: Sunday night

Sunday night always comes too soon. I may be destined to be a haggard mom on Monday morning. It doesn’t matter if I wake up late, early or on time. It always seems like I woke up one minute and the next minute its midnight. I used to think that it was because I procrastinate. However, I realize it doesn’t matter. Today, I was fairly efficient. I managed to make my house orderly even if it is still not spotless.

No offense to my neat sister, but spotless homes may be overrated. Perhaps, the more mess you have the more fun you have?  Anyway, I wouldn’t know. I’ve only had a spotless house for about 5 minutes.  There was this one time when everyone was asleep and we weren’t moving or breathing hard and our home was spotless.  Then, we woke up! J

I loved this, lol! Especially the part when you said "When we're asleep and no one's breathing too hard", LOL! It's so hard to keep things nice and tidy all the time!
