One Secret to a Working Mom Success: Celebrate the Seasons With Traditions

Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania ! Things have been busy. I am still a working mom of three, working full time who is trying to make a difference. I do a lot of things and try to be present so that I can learn from them. I share them on this blog so that we can learn together. How to Survive the Last Days of Winter: Go to The National Aviary

Mothers love their children. However, being the constant source of their entertainment  can be exhausting! When the weather is nice, outside is an easy source of entertainment. However, when it is cold, rainy, snowy, or all three entertaining your kids is harder. For that reason, mamas need a Spring Break more than college coeds! Unfortunately, we can't always afford it.

If the recent weather on the east coast is any indication--that Nor'Easter has been real--winter is not over and seeking an entertaining haven from the storm may be needed. If you are in Pittsburgh and can't afford a tropical excursion, pay a visit to the National Aviary! A day there can give you a break from the cold and provide adequate amusement for your kids!

A Day at the National Aviary is a Great Break from the Cold!

The National Aviary is a unique Pittsburgh treasure.  According to its website, it is the only independent indoor nonprofit zoo dedicated to birds. Because of it is focused on birds, inside it is downright tropical! One exception is the penguins exhibit, which is really well done. So, actually you can experience multiple seasons under one roof!

It's a great way to spend the day. Let me know if you make it there!
