A Grandfather’s Love, Demonstrated in Freeze Pops

As the weather starts to break a bit, we make plans for Spring Break, and I book my kids in a variety of Summer camps,  I am reminded that this summer will be different because we won't have my dad to share the summer with,  My dad kept these on the rotation, in every flavor. Not even sure how he gets them now because I think they are the equivalent of "kid crack"--made with artificial coloring, flavoring, and sugar . To my kids though, these freeze pops were love and summer wrapped in a bow. (As an Amazon associate, I am compensated for qualifying purchases.)

Power to the Mothers!

One of the cool things about having this blog is that I learn about so many interesting things.  And when I learn new things, I like to share them with my blog readers so that they too can be edified! :-)

I recently discovered an organization called, "M.O.T.H.E.R.S." (Mothers Ought to Have Equal Rights).  It is is a netroots community of mothers and other family caregivers who look after children or other dependent family members. It promotes social change to enhance the economic security of those who do carework, both exclusively or in conjunction with paid employment.

I'm not endorsing the organization and I am not affiliated with them.  (I'm a lawyer so you know I have to have a disclaimer.  I can't just say, hey this site is cool check it out like NORMAL people! :-)) Seriously, I like the principle of the organization.  Anybody who is working to support moms, help them become financially secure, and obtain equal rights is alright with me!

I'm not an attorney but after scanning the link you provided, I'd say it looks like a good thing.
I think promoting security is a good goal.
