One Secret to Success for a Working Mom, Expand Your Village (Jack and Jill of America)

Jack and Jill of America member and her daughter Recently, I have become keenly aware that good kids are created by accident. They become good because someone made a concerted effort to pour positive things into them--things like, honor, discipline and respect for others. These qualities are taught through lessons and by observation. For that reason, I have been actively considering how to give my children more examples of people who embody those qualities.  Indeed, raising my children to become good people is my most important job.

Returning to Work After the Holidays!

I returned to work after a nice holiday break. I enjoyed my time off and learned a lot. I also gained great respect for stay- at-home moms!

Being a WAHM is quite challenging. I love the chances that I have to get out and have adult company!

I appreciate stay- at -home moms too. I often accompany my spouse (the Education Tipster) when she tutors children and enjoy meeting home schoolers. Many are not totally knowledgeable with math and employ my wife's services.
Did you know there are 250,000 african-american home schoolers?
The little cutie on the right side of my blog page is five years old, home schooled, and believe me, is ready to enter the third grade.
