A Grandfather’s Love, Demonstrated in Freeze Pops

As the weather starts to break a bit, we make plans for Spring Break, and I book my kids in a variety of Summer camps,  I am reminded that this summer will be different because we won't have my dad to share the summer with,  My dad kept these on the rotation, in every flavor. Not even sure how he gets them now because I think they are the equivalent of "kid crack"--made with artificial coloring, flavoring, and sugar . To my kids though, these freeze pops were love and summer wrapped in a bow. (As an Amazon associate, I am compensated for qualifying purchases.)

A Peek Into the Life of a Blogger Mom: Somtimes You Need a Party Break!

It has been a blessed and busy weekend. Yesterday we hosted a baby dedication and party for our family and closest friends. It was a wonderful event but it threw me off of my schedule.

It takes a village to raise a child and it takes more planning and preparation to pull off a big event than you ever imagine. I missed posting my Friday Tips.

If I had posted my tips I would have mentioned the Regatta going on at Point State Park this weekend. What's going on in my world is extended family time. Now we're about to get in the pool. Love family and summer!
