One Secret to a Working Mom Success: Celebrate the Seasons With Traditions

Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania ! Things have been busy. I am still a working mom of three, working full time who is trying to make a difference. I do a lot of things and try to be present so that I can learn from them. I share them on this blog so that we can learn together. Below are some thoughts, hacks, and/or lessons that I have learned from navigating my world. "Family traditions counter alienation and confusion. Attend "The Mom Con" on Thursday, May 23rd

I mostly write about issues that are relevant to working moms. However, the truth is, all mothers face unique challenges whether they work in the home or out.  Our predecessors had more clearly defined roles. Today we are expected to raise perfect children, keep a perfect house, make gourmet meals and look like a supermodel!

Plan to attend The Mom Con

Every mother know that motherhood can be all consuming.  It can be overwhelming to accomplish all of your own goals and trying to satisfy other people's expectations can be even tougher.

That's why moms need help.

Some very smart women created "The Mom Con", a conference series designed to inspire and empower moms to pursue their passions while raising their kids. I am one of the speakers for the Pittsburgh conference and I am thrilled! Nothing makes me happier than helping moms create a life that works for them.

Plan to attend. You’ll get fresh ideas, an opportunity to connect with other local moms, and a day away from the juggling act.  Instead you can focus on you and gain tips  to transform you into the best resources you can be for your family – and yourself.

Register for the conference through this link: http://themomcon.com/ (Save $10 if you register before April 30th!)
