A Grandfather’s Love, Demonstrated in Freeze Pops

As the weather starts to break a bit, we make plans for Spring Break, and I book my kids in a variety of Summer camps,  I am reminded that this summer will be different because we won't have my dad to share the summer with,  My dad kept these on the rotation, in every flavor. Not even sure how he gets them now because I think they are the equivalent of "kid crack"--made with artificial coloring, flavoring, and sugar . To my kids though, these freeze pops were love and summer wrapped in a bow. (As an Amazon associate, I am compensated for qualifying purchases.)

Working Mom Tip: Great Books for Kids

We love reading to our daughter and have since she was born. Having her sit on my lap as I rock her in the chair and read to her are one of my favorite things to do. We also like whenever the books we read reinforce the lessons we try to teach her.

I was pleasantly surprised when I found a list of picture books that are designed to support character lessons. I even learned the six pillars of character, which are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship
