Happy Summer!!!

Dog Days of Summer have begun Most working moms are exhausted this time of year. The kids are over school. The uniforms have holes in them and the book bags are held together with duct tape. And then, just like that, Memorial Day comes to help us cope with what we have to do. It gives us a reprieve to prepare for the summer--a less structured life filled with longer nights and more fun.

Wordless Wednesday: A Working Mom at the Bus Stop (and why this post was late)

Today I had a real treat. I was able to meet my daughter as she got off of the bus. As a full time working mom, greeting her at the bus stop is something that I often miss. So, I was thrilled to be able to do it today. From the look on her face, she was thrilled too!

This post was prepared on Wednesday, but not posted until Thursday because I fell asleep on my couch with my laptop and neglected to hit send. Has something like that ever happened to you when you were going to post a blog post, buy an airline ticket, or be the first one to score tickets to an important event, etc.??? Please tell me I'm not alone!
