Happy Summer!!!

Dog Days of Summer have begun Most working moms are exhausted this time of year. The kids are over school. The uniforms have holes in them and the book bags are held together with duct tape. And then, just like that, Memorial Day comes to help us cope with what we have to do. It gives us a reprieve to prepare for the summer--a less structured life filled with longer nights and more fun.

Recently, Santa Monica, California, became the latest municipality to enact its own minimum wage and sick leave ordinance, proposed by the City Council on January 12, 2016, and approved shortly thereafter on January 26, 2016.  (From Littler Communication)
