Happy Summer!!!

Dog Days of Summer have begun Most working moms are exhausted this time of year. The kids are over school. The uniforms have holes in them and the book bags are held together with duct tape. And then, just like that, Memorial Day comes to help us cope with what we have to do. It gives us a reprieve to prepare for the summer--a less structured life filled with longer nights and more fun.

Wednesday Reflections: Holiday Memories (Dating My Husband)

Like most bloggers, I take WAY too many photos. For that reason, my phone is constantly telling me that my storage is low. I came across the photos below. They reminded me about the rarefied air we breathe during the holidays that makes us pause and believe that we absolutely have the time to get dressed up and have a drink. During that time, we believe that those rituals actually matter. 

We're a few months removed from the holidays. Seeing these photos makes me remember the fun we had and fill me with longing...
