Happy Summer!!!

Dog Days of Summer have begun Most working moms are exhausted this time of year. The kids are over school. The uniforms have holes in them and the book bags are held together with duct tape. And then, just like that, Memorial Day comes to help us cope with what we have to do. It gives us a reprieve to prepare for the summer--a less structured life filled with longer nights and more fun.

Working Mom Reflections: Take Your Child to Work Day

Last week was "Take Your Child to Work Day". My daughter came with me and had a ball. Those who planned the event truly when the extra mile to treat the kids with style. They had a tour, activities and experienced cutting edge technology. Now, all of the kids think we come to work to play and have that much fun every day!

Seriously, there are many challenges about being a working mom that I share often on this blog. Last Thursday though, my daughter thought I was a rock star because I was responsible for her having such cool experiences. And that was pretty cool!
