One Secret to a Working Mom Success: Celebrate the Seasons With Traditions

Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania ! Things have been busy. I am still a working mom of three, working full time who is trying to make a difference. I do a lot of things and try to be present so that I can learn from them. I share them on this blog so that we can learn together. Below are some thoughts, hacks, and/or lessons that I have learned from navigating my world. "Family traditions counter alienation and confusion. They help us define who we are; they provide something steady, reliable and safe in a confusing world."— Susan Lieberman   Traditions have a way of defining a family, provide stability and give hope. Wordless Wednesday: Working Mom Confession

Mommy bloggers are expected to be whizzes at technology and social media. Don't get it twisted, I rock at both. And if you are looking, I am your go to speaker to explain to people how they can become the stars of their own reality show. Still, I work full-time as an attorney. I am also a mother and have two kids.  I also try to keep it tight. That means that there are times when living my life interferes with documenting my life. Indeed, there were other, better photos of me and my son that would have been better in this post. However, I couldn't figure out how to get them on this blog from this Chrome Book, so on the Chrome Book they remain.

Don't worry, the posts you are looking for are coming! I am working on posts about my attendance at the United of Women Summit, my glamorous weekends, and my thoughts about Silicon Valley's courting of women who have opted out. I just haven't had the time to post them!

Shameless Plug

The above photo was taken at the insistence of my daughter. As photos go, it is pretty bad. Still, it memorializes a feat as a mom. I decided to value her feelings more than the end product. Please comment so that the powers that be understand that this didn't compromise my brand! :-) Also, if you are a blogger, please let me know how you do it all! :-)
