A Grandfather’s Love, Demonstrated in Freeze Pops

As the weather starts to break a bit, we make plans for Spring Break, and I book my kids in a variety of Summer camps,  I am reminded that this summer will be different because we won't have my dad to share the summer with,  My dad kept these on the rotation, in every flavor. Not even sure how he gets them now because I think they are the equivalent of "kid crack"--made with artificial coloring, flavoring, and sugar . To my kids though, these freeze pops were love and summer wrapped in a bow. (As an Amazon associate, I am compensated for qualifying purchases.)

Working Mom Tip: Stay Healthy

Two working moms who make things happen...

As working moms a lot of people rely on us—our families, our bosses, organizations that we serve… We know that we can't fulfill our obligations unless we are healthy. However, our busy schedules can sometimes make staying healthy hard. I remember that my mom used to keep Lance Peanut Butter Crackers in her purse when we were young. I imagine she did that because she didn't often have time to enjoy a proper lunch. We have all been there. However, even with our busy schedules we have to make sure that we get the appropriate nutrients if we want to stay healthy.

Life is fragile and it is important that we take care of ourselves. (Click here for a reminder of that.)
