Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Things have been busy. I am still a working mom of three, working full time who is trying to make a difference. Wednesday Wisdom: Celebrate, even if you have to coordinate it yourself!

 Memorial Day fashion

On Memorial Day, I decided to have a cookout that I would organize myself. Usually, when we host cookouts, I make the sides, season the meat and Andre grills it. However, this year, he had to work. So, I decided to proceed on my own. 

 The food was good.
Indeed, I managed to make veggie burgers, homemade guacamole, homemade chip dip, two kinds of chicken, hot dogs, pasta salad, grilled asparagus, fried corn and broccoli salad. Doesn't that chicken below make you salivate?! 


However, I am most pleased that I managed to cook it all and not get anything on my white jeans. Pure talent (and lots of luck)!
