Easter Reminded Me of the Miracles That Are My Children

Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Things have been busy. I am still a working mom of three, working full time who is trying to make a difference. I do a lot of things and try to be present so that I can learn from them. I share them on this blog so that we can learn together. Below are some thoughts, hacks, and/or lessons that I have learned from navigating my world. Below is a tale of my road to becoming the mother of three. It was a road filled with joys and disappointments. However, I wouldn't giving nothing for my journey now. Here's to embracing every step of the journey, even the painful ones, and embracing the lessons learned along the way.

The 2018 Holiday Season was Awesome!

Seeing Santa at Market Square

It has been a beautiful, busy and blessed holiday season. We have been enjoying it tremendously, which hasn't lent to a lot of time for blogging.

We Began at Market Square and Participated in The Nutcracker

This holiday season began with a trip to Market Square. Our children and I went with my sister. We enjoyed the lights. Had milkshakes and visited Santa. The season was punctuated by our daughter's performance in the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater's version of "The Nutcracker" this season. She brought boundless energy to the role of Soldier #7 and enjoyed being a part of the cast very much.

This Year We Made Room For Baby

In addition to everything else, we enjoyed incorporating our newest addition into our family. It's funny, it is as if we had been waiting for him forever. He joined our family with a spectacular entrance and has carved out his own unique niche in our hearts. He is feisty and greeting Santa like a champ!

The Middle Child Has Distinguished Himself

Lest you think that our middle child is getting overlooked, know that he is special in his own right. He also filmed a commercial with his father this past year and earned a paycheck. Not bad at four years old if you ask me! And besides being a bread earner, he has the very best heart.

As you can see, the kids keep us going. They make everything more busy, but also more fun. Looking forward to enjoying the remainder of the season hanging out with those we love!
