One Secret to a Working Mom Success: Make Family Events More Enjoyable With Friends

Better Together: Why Inviting Another Family Makes Activities More Fun #FamilyFun Sometimes family activities can feel like another item on the to-do list. However, doing those activities with another family makes them more fun! Whether it’s a trip to an amusement park , a visit to the local pool , or trip to a pumpkin patch , including another family can multiply the fun in amazing ways. One of my favorite moms to collaborate with is my friend, Ayana Ledford who's pictured above with her daughter Sahar. We have done all of the things listed as seemingly random examples above and here is how including her and her daughter (and sometimes her son too) has made the events more fun. On the date above, Ayana almost left the venue because parking was a nightmare. That said, she hung in there and we would up having a great time!

There's Still Time For HalloWeekends at Cedar Point

There are places that define themselves and Cedar point does that with its HalloWeekends. First, Cedar Point is a beachfront amusement park. So, what's not to like?! Second, a lot of people dig that it's touted as the, "Roller Coaster Capital of the World" because they are into that kind of thing. Third, ain't nobody anywhere doing the Halloween theme better than Cedar Point. Trust me.

Indeed, the theme is so intense that you forget it's fake. Just ask the kids!

For a great video about the experience, check out this one from my main man, Mike Mixon, who captured the sentiment on his Instagram page. Click here to see it. If you're not already following him, you totally should!

Visit Cedar Point This Weekend

One of the great things about Cedar Point is that there is something for everyone. If you're into roller coasters, you can do that. If you like other stuff, you can do those things. And, if your heart craves a roller coaster but you're too small for most of that, Snoopy Land has the answer for your little ones.

"HalloWeekends is an annual Halloween event at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio. It was introduced in 1997, and takes place during the Halloween season, usually from the second Friday after Labor Day until the Sunday before Halloween, or sometimes into early November." See Wikipedia

There is still one weekend left to enjoy all of this fun. And, I highly recommend making the trip this weekend. As luck would have it, Saturday is supposed to be perfect weather! So, make the trip to Cedar Point, get your steps in (as you are required to do at an amusement park), ride some rides, and greet Halloween on Monday with the right attitude!

In case you were wondering, this post is not sponsored. I just really enjoy Cedar Point this time of year and I thought you and your family might too!
