Happy Summer!!!

Dog Days of Summer have begun Most working moms are exhausted this time of year. The kids are over school. The uniforms have holes in them and the book bags are held together with duct tape. And then, just like that, Memorial Day comes to help us cope with what we have to do. It gives us a reprieve to prepare for the summer--a less structured life filled with longer nights and more fun.

One thing that I know for sure is that this is my squad. I never considered myself the "ride or die" type until I had them. Indeed, I would walk through fire, take a bullet and have endured more than I ever thought that I could just to ensure their well being. 

I have sacrificed much for their happiness. And I would do it again because my life only makes sense if they are well taken care of. My heart beats for them. And I am beyond grateful to be their mother.
