In the movie Love Jones , the male lead says, "romance is about the possibility of the thing." I agree with that. However, I think that the concept is more universal. life--truly living--is about the possibility of the thing. For a while, I was sleep walking through life, doing what was required without truly embracing it. Recent events have caused me to re-evaluate that and to embrace life and all of its limitless possibilities.   And romance, is about love. Over the past year I have become committed to falling back in love with my life. New relationships have made that love affair possible. And, I don't take them for granted. Creating space for new relationships and making new friends as a single, working mom, and creating space is not easy. But it is necessary. For that reason, I have committed to making new friendships, keeping the old productive ones, and enjoying them all--in the midst of working, parenting, and adulting . Catching Up

Good morning!

I hope this message finds you well. All is well up here in Pittsburgh. I have a few facts to report:

Sunshine is Every Where: The sun really does shine here, albeit infrequently.

Kindness Exists North of the Mason/Dixon: Everyone has been incredibly kind to me here, and I have been invited to several functions.

There’s no Place Like Home: Even though I didn’t grow up here, it’s been really good to be near my family, and we’ve settled into a good routine. I’ve forgotten why I’d live away for so long, but I’m sure I’ll remember soon enough… J

Practicing In-house is fabulous! I really enjoy my job and the people I work with. Since I didn’t have a strong health care background it’s been challenging, but I’m receiving great on-the-job training. I’ve learned a lot and made some contributions to the health system. All in all it’s been a great move for me.

Romance: There’re no significant updates in this area, but I remain hopeful! For the record, I am constantly reviewing applications to find the right candidate, if you know anyone who’d like to be considered, let me know.

Hopefully, our paths will cross again sometime soon. Until then, take care and have a great Spring!
