Easter Reminded Me of the Miracles That Are My Children

Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Things have been busy. I am still a working mom of three, working full time who is trying to make a difference. I do a lot of things and try to be present so that I can learn from them. I share them on this blog so that we can learn together. Below are some thoughts, hacks, and/or lessons that I have learned from navigating my world. Below is a tale of my road to becoming the mother of three. It was a road filled with joys and disappointments. However, I wouldn't giving nothing for my journey now. Here's to embracing every step of the journey, even the painful ones, and embracing the lessons learned along the way.

All is fair in love and baby contests (a/k/a "Go little ladybug go!!!)

Hi Blog Readers! My daughter is a finalist in the Pinxav Cutest Baby Contest on Facebook and she is in a distant third place.  Look at her photo, can you believe that?!  To correct this travesty, we need your help.

The contest is simple.  The baby with the most LIKES wins.  However, be careful and like the correct photo. There has been some confusion. Unless my cousin's wife was so moved by another baby's photo, I'm not sure why her name is still assigned to another baby.  So, you be sure and "like" the ladybug.  After all, you're voting because you were so moved by the photos on this blog posting that you can't help but vote for the ladybug! :-)

Don't think that your vote doesn't count because it does. There are only three babies competing. So, it's anybody's game. And in the interest of full disclosure the other babies are cute too.  I just happen to be on Team Ladybug!

You must click on the ladybug photo and click "like". We're behind, but that is a small obstacle when you have a network of Good People and blog readers behind you (or at least I hope so)!  Everyone who votes for the ladybug gets a prize.  They get the joy of knowing that they helped teach her a lesson that I will surely write about and that is "we get by with a little help from our friends"!

Please use this link below to vote and to direct your friends to vote in the contest. The link is: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.294268830601483.86550.214203651941335&type=1&l=fdc857243c.

Please have your friends vote too. The ladybug and her chauffers (otherwise known as her parents) thank you!

Go little ladybug go!!! Go little ladybug go!!!  Go little ladybug go!!!

(Please let me know if you have any problems voting.)
