It makes you wonder whether he was suggesting that marriage itself was a path to insanity. If you have forgotten the beginning, here you go, "Dearly beloved, We are gathered here today, To get through this thing called "life" Electric word, life, It means forever and that's a mighty long time, But I'm here to tell you There's something else..." He writes the afterworld in the blank. However, a recent study suggests that "marriage" could be inserted in its place, especially marriage for high earning women.

First, I must confess that Lou Gramm attended my high school. So, I probably quote "Journey" songs more than the average Black girl. And my years in Catholic school and in AWANA make the Bible a common sourcee of inspiration too.
Now that true confessions are out of the way, I want to talk about my dreams. I have dreamed about becoming a freelance writer for some time. I have also dreamed about being on television.
I am happy to report that my first freelance story was published today by Parent Society. Even though I have been publishing my posts on my blog for years, my heart soared when I saw my name on the byline for my Parent Society article.
I know that getting published in this magazine is not the equivalent of winning an Academy Award. However, I have some people I'd like to thank.
I'd like to thank Daniel Casciato, a local freelance writer who inspired me a few years ago. He interviewed me for an article and checked out my blog. He told me that I should be compensated for my writing. While it has taken me longer than expected, his words have motivated me throughout the years.
I'd also like to thank Jacque from the blog "Inelegant Unpremeditated Life" http://inelegantunpremeditatedlife.blogspot.com/. She and I became friends on Twitter and she helped me get interviewed by Parent Society. I love when moms help other moms. I intend to pay it forward and help aspiring writers too.
This evening I will be appearing on "Night Talk" for the PCNC network here in Pittsburgh. I will be on a panel discussing current events and issues that are important to our communities. As the only woman on the panel, and as a mom I intend to highlight issues that matter to women and to mothers. It's the second time I will have appeared in the past six months. I guess I did OK the first time and am hopeful for another successful appearance.
I still can't hold a candle to my girl Bethenny Frankel. However, this is one "Skinny Girl" who is working hard to make her dreams come true (all while holding down my day job)!
I also have to thank Andre and the toddler for helping to make all of my dreams come true.
For all of you dreamers out there, keep on believing!
