Being a mom who works full time can be exhausting. Indeed, getting up early, exercising and working all day can leave you spent at the end of the day, even if you like your job. Sometimes, the only thing that you want to do is curl up on a sofa and watch television with a snack and possibly probably a glass of wine. Working Moms Get Tired, But They Have to Play Anyway!

As a working mom, I often write about how I am overworked at work and at home and don't get all of the help that I would like. While those things are true, this Fathers' Day I have to acknowledge that Andre is an amazing father and one of the great joys of my life has been watching Andre father our daughter... He was there when she was born doing everything it took to bring her into the world. From that moment on, he has been engaged and protective of her. He mastered swaddling because he understood that sleep was essential for baby and mommy. He quickly learned how to change diapers, feed her and clothe her. He has mastered the art of pony tails. A Devoted Father He has even changed her diaper in public restrooms all over the country. One of the funniest times involved the three of us visiting my alma mater, The University of Virginia . I had a full work day and I did a couple of things to build the blog. I wore myself out because I have learned that a strong network is vital to my blogging success. I'm not even that well connected. Still, my best leads, including my Parent Society freelancing gig, have come from other moms. I also was recently selected to serve as a freelancer for The " What to Expect When You're Expecting " site, which is HUGE . I know that it will help me obtain more speaking opportunities. The only reason I was asked was because of my Homey, Heidi Murkoff , whom I have never met in person or spoken to on the phone. We connected via social media. Thank God for Twitter !
